This research group focuses on pedagogical practice and teacher training, in its interface with technologies (digital). The concern with pedagogical communication in digital environment extends for broader reflections, related to language and social practice of language mediated by new technologies. The researches of this group prioritizes three major themes: the linguistic nature of the multimodal and hypermodal constructs that characterize the text in the new media, The training of teachers for the use of new technologies, and the critical education. The theoretical reflections on the first theme offer relevant subsidies for the production of texts and materials for the web. The studies in the field of teacher training seek to outline ways for practices that problematize the culture and the use of different languages for the construction of meanings. The critical perspective crosses all the focused themes, showing concern with the social participation through the education.
