The Institute of Language Studies at the State University of Campinas has the honour to host the 18th Congress of Latin-America Association of Systemic Functional Linguistics and the 2nd Brazilian Congress of Systemic Functional Linguistics. The congress will take place from September 25th to 29th 2023, and the theme for this edition is New paths for dialogue, understanding and reconnection, as an invitation to discuss our possible contributions to foster social change and peacefully coexistence. As in previous occasions, ALSFAL seeks to open possibilities for exchange of research as well as to contribute to the development of Systemic Functional Linguistics in Latin America and Worldwide.
