I started working as a professor of the Department of Applied Linguistics in 2016. (Area: Language and Education. Research line: Languages and Linguistic Education). My research is concerned with the teaching of literature at school; literary literacy; literature teachers’ education; circulation of literary genres in didactic materials, in curricula and in governmental evaluations of Basic Education; articulation of literary literacy to new (digital) and multi-literacy; and especially the practices of local and national poetry slams.
